After the death of his family he traveled Europe collecting jewels and hunting big game. After that the war came and he bacame a war hero by taking out 3 german divisions
The truth that Jordan tells nick is that Gatsby moved across the bay and threw partys hoping to run into daisy again. All just to ask her to come over for a cup of tea
